On June 9th, six hundred visitors, mainly professionals from the HORECA sector took part in the next edition of Apéritif à la Française. For some it was a new experience, for others an annual networking event not to be missed: everyone was there to appreciate a key moment for French gastronomy in Dubaï.
This year, various animations were proposed to participants: a French artist was singing Edith Piaf or Aznavour, banners, flags and vintage French advertising to create a “frenchy” atmosphere, juice, cheese and éclair stations to showcase French know how, and also an Eiffel Tower photo booth for those nostalgic of Paris.
Chefs from the Westin Mina Seyahi successfully showcased products of partner brands via tailor-made recipes: Minestrone with coconut, carrots, pineapple and BADOIT, Cheesecake with honey mustard by MAILLE, onion soup topped with SAINT AGUR on toast.
The new edition of « La Gazette de L’Apéritif » was distributed throughout the evening, conveying news about participating brands and products. This year, Sopexa was honored to welcome Mr. Michel Miraillet, ambassador of France in the United Arab Emirates.
